Mainline has a menu, heck it's got a whole food court to choose from. To top it off, they have an option that poses no labor threat whatsoever. Mesa going to mainline and asking to open up the CPA so that JO can "meet the pilots' demands" just ain't happening.
Do your former Mesa bros a solid and start an organizing campaign!
Too bad UAL owns those Ejets, they even have mainline "N" numbers. You guys start having "crew" issues which causes a drop in completion factor then those birds are headed to SGU so Blackwing and his non-labor threat buddies can fly them.
Now to the TA.....you guys were smart to vote it down. It was merely an extension of the current book and not worth it.
Ding Ding Ding, winner winner chicken dinner!!!!
Consolidation and shrinking at the same rate as a attrition. In 5 years, or less, 50 seaters will be in the desert or flying cargo in Mexico. 10 years from now those Ejets get absorbed in to mainline and we are forced to start ab initio programs to attract pilots.

Yep they already turned them down in the first place.
A few years back we took 5 planes from delta and operated them. Skywest cleaned em up got them exactly as we liked them and then delta came in and **** on us and swapped em out for other planes. We lost all that money we put into them. Ever since then Skywest never operates planes they don't own.
Also Skywest won't operate 175s out of Houston or iad. We have limited united on where they can put our planes. We gave them three bases. They chose Denver San Fran and Chicago.

No one here appreciates to relive this one, but...
The sole suspect of an ongoing murder investigation, of which the murder victim is a woman whom had a restraining order against him... drunkenly hops the airport barbed wire fence, using a rug and gloves that he brought... gets in the seat, despite being impaired, to go for a ride in the jet. Who knows what he would have done, or killed, if he was able to get it airborne.
No, I dont give him an ounce of pity. I feel sorry for his family and the woman/her family.
Looks like you shouldnt throw stones.
Lets keep the thread back on track guys!

I don't know if it's that far off. Hell Xjet will run a class if they can get 3 ppl to show up. Envoy is having struggles getting people and Trans states can't staff their lines let alone reserve. Mark my word Trans states will lose a lot of their aa flying soon.

There will be 4 Mega Regionals left, just like we have 4 Big ones , 4 Low cost ones and 4 freight today !!!!
Magic number is 4
Skywest holdings
Republic holdings
Trans States Holdings by 2018
And the wholly owns at American will all merge to ONE the name to be seen and IPO to follow
Max all super Regionals will have 20000 pilots at best I would say
And that merging fund is the best thing your Mesa MEC did
You will need it for the retention fee for the one out of two Law firms in existence that deal with airline merging in the United States

That I was wrong. But we won't open another 175 base for united until we get another large contract on top of the 18 we just got.
We did the same thing for the crj btw. Management terms "reducing our geographic footprint" means restricting the bases our planes are at.
