Mesa 3.0

So reading the 10-Q I see that ejets start expiring this month. The 700s start expiring in August and are completely expired in December. There’s language for automatic extension of the Ejets with no new agreement. Not so for the 700s. Anyone know of ejets going away or any news on the 700s?

Yes but it’s not this year. The last 700 expires in December. Sure there’s flying scheduled later this year but it doesn’t mean they won’t all roll off still.

No, Mesa Still does not want pilots to stay past 5 years. Not raising pay will ensure that. In the last investor phone conference call JO bragged to the investors about being a "LowCost" Regional. a "juniority" company, stating that more than 75% of the employees have less than five years seniority. Obviously he's Referencing the pilots since flight attendant payroll is nowhere near as high as the pilot payroll. Rather than raise the pay, they will continue to raise the sign on bonus to attract new hires. Didn't they just raise the sign on bonus again recently. The funny thing is, all regionals still want you to stay for around five years and move on, but most provide a pathway to you in order to Move on. Mesa, does not provide that. Oh yeah they have a CPP program which is a scam. They want you to find your own career, but yet be gone in 5 years.

Ditto.
As JO, Mesa's MEC, and UA/AA ride off into the sunset with our salaries and any shot at a decent retirement.
Way too many good pilots here with excellent credentials who can't get a phone call from a major.
This reeks of collusion.

F.O. Attrition
Call me crazy but I just spoke to a company recruiter and I was asking about the sign on bone-us (TIC). For you guys in the know, how can there be F.O. attrition problems if the bonus programs require a two year commitment. That would especially be true with a 12 to 18 month upgrade.
Something is not making sense to me. I like the bonus, but two years?????

If the majors ain't calling and you decide to stay at Mesa for anything but a major, well... That's on you. Own it, but don't complain about it. You can go to other places for a much better QOL, pay, and treatment than what JO offers, if that's what your after. If you're comfortable where you are currently then who cares?
