Correct, PTDY is a no-go, but free agent for the most part on your terminal leave.

I used PTAD for stuff like job fairs, to avoid using leave. You just can’t add them together for an earlier start date.

I retire in a couple of months and just found this out

Also, I put my availability for the major I was just hired by at 1 April and was just offered a March class.
