Default Milkeep vs Beyond Blue Logbook

About to pull the trigger on a flying hours conversion service.

Any experiences with either?

What in the world is a flying hours conversion service?

What service are you in? What is your MWS?

They convert your mil time into civ categories, etc...makes it easier to plug into the app sites.

Do you really need to pay someone to do this? It’s not that difficult. It’s math. Very easy math.

Heard a lot of good things about MILKEEP from couple guys I know that just got hired by United, very fast turnaround and accurate conversions. Probably will be using them myself here soon, good luck!

Myself and several friends have used MilKEEP with no issues. It's pricey -- they all are -- but it cleans up the duplicates and spits out the results in a format that is plug-and-play for AirlineApps and PilotCredentials. You are paying for the time you save and peace-of-mind during this process.

I have not used nor do I know anybody that has used Beyond Blue Logbook thus no comment on their services.

Why are you not using the SARMs summary page of your flying time?

I did not use the summary page because both application portals want things like sorties/hours flown in the last 6/12/24 months and other breakdowns that the ARMS Flying Hours Summary doesn't provide.

On a higher level the Flight Records Folder appears to be a well-respected product in airline hiring circles. Everybody I know (including me) that interviewed recently and used a combination of MilKEEP for the application and handed in their FRF had zero questions about logbooks/hours/etc. during their interview.

I used beyond blue. I'm satisfied with the product I was returned. Had to double check some of my deployment lines since I deployed as an AC which wasn't converted to PIC. I can show you what I got if you're interested; send me a PM.

I know a lot of people have used MilKeep as well. That service is tried and true.

Also, as mentioned above and from what I've seen/heard, most people have brought their FEF/FRF/SARM summaries but had nothing questioned or clarified at the interview.
