Army RW with a C-12 offer

Dive bombs....that’s funny. Yes, we have our 10%. Everyone does. Was she a Warrant Officer? or RLO? That usually makes a difference. Not aways, but usually.
Every Army FW guy I know that has applied to a Legacy has gotten a CJO. That doesn’t mean every/all......just every Army FW guy I know.

I would expect this in this climate. They can no longer afford to be snobs about specific flavors of mil experience. Any mil pilot has a demonstrated LCD that's higher than the civilian/regional LCD.

Are many people going from navy RW to Army reserve/ANG FW? I have my apps out for USN reserves but I would like to have some backup plans. Not totally against RW either, I would just rather be building my resume while on orders. Trying to stay in the SE region.

The Army Reserves has 2 FW Battalions. A little easier to get into due to size. They usually like to recruit guys who have other Army RW qualifications since they also have other types of units. They lure you into FW, but if you have good dwell time....they can activate you to go deploy w a RW unit if you are qualified in said unit’s RW ac.

Somewhat dated info, but the USAR UC-35 (citation) det at Dobbins was always looking for people. Also had great hospitality once from the USMC E-2 unit there.
As far as C-12, a good friend, longtime C-12 IP, was just hired at Big D. Primarily a King Air guy, with a dash of Citation and PC-12. No prior airline time. He turned down a SW interview like 3 times.

I could definitely have it mixed up. Maybe they were Navy? Bottom line is, they helped me get a room at the "fully booked" AF lodging on base while stuck with a sick kid while driving home from Rucker. I had run into them at the BX and they were awesome. The next morning I ended running a 5K with them. They were flying upgraded E-2's with 6-bladed scimitar props. July 2008. I will never forget their hospitality.
