I am a big flying nerd, and it is not unusual for me to log 6 hours of flight and then come home and fly for 2 hours in my sim. Currently I have an FTD approved 737 with an instructor station. In about 2 months, I will have finished my T-6 setup. Laugh if you want, but MFS is an effective training aid if you use it like one.
This is just awesome Take that F-15E pilot! He fly's Microsoft Flight Sim! He dares to venture where the big boys roam!

I've worked a few airshows with Sweetman and he knows what he is talking about. Reportedly he is one of the few outside the military who got to actually see the Dorito mockup, the Navy's aborted new Avenger.

Valid threat no doubt. But it wouldn't be a true Offensive Counter Air weapon.

Big fighters with a lot of internal fuel have the added capability of coming over to an enemy's back-yard and and taking control.

SA-10/12/20 are great at defending the homeland, but are in the end, primarily defensive weapons.
