he has one leg on the 6th, and magically a check airman is on board his flight! Surprise check ride perhaps? The company is looking at every possible way to find an excuse for proper termination

Hey Albie,

On a different bourd you made a reference to a "Kadena incident".

Just last week(before all this came out) I flew with a ex Dutch air force F16 dude(he really was), anyways, we got to talk about NATO excercises and the different air forces dudes he met, basically the ones that had the most humor. Lot of good stories but in came down that the US guys where usually very serious (not much humor if you will), except this one guy. This story about the Kadena incident just happened. Shortly afterwards there was a NATO excercise and were most guys have patches with their squadron on one side and type on the other, this USAF eagle guy had a patch saying "it was not me" Hugely hilarious I thought.

Way of topic, so sorry about that, but I thought it was a great story.

Back on topic now

Yeah...I heard it second hand, but I know there were supposed to be some patches saying...

It wasn't my squadron

or:

It wasn't my flight

or:

It wasn't ME!

The other (in)famous joke is that whenever you were in an LFE (large force exercise) taxiing out behind an F-16, they would turn off their EEC/DEEC which would take their nozzles from about 80% open to 30% open...implying a "closing" sphincter. Hahaha...very funny MF... Can't wait to shoot your dumb ass at the merge....

All in all...the Eagle/Viper rivialry probably brought the best out of both sides. The 2nd FS, 71st, and 19th are closing this month. A while back it was the 33rd Wing and the 1FS at Tyndall. Tough gettin' old. Tough watching Eagles fly off to the boneyard...

the current info reflects that he's not scheduled to go out again until the last week of the month.....he's sure having a nice spring break!

What's the word on what ALPA is doing to represent him during this investigation?

ALPA National has a 24-year old janitor they'll be sending. He says he has a law degree from Harvard and represented OJ at his murder trial in 1995. Plus, one of the mailroom guys vouched for him.

I think Timmy has a shot at beating this...

If you think it's tough now, just wait until you see them using Eagles as drones for some air-to-air missile practice. That's what they did with my beloved F-100's. I could understand them doing that with the double-ugly (F-4's), but never the Hun.

Never drones...we have too good of an air-to-air record!

You too will be old one day. Before you know it.
