Get a quote.
They have to move it. You may just have to pay the difference if it's more. It'll still be far, far cheaper than paying someone to move it yourself.
Another thing to consider is a partial DITY. Move some of the stuff yourself and get paid for it - it may help offset any difference in cost.

Military Legal Residence and Home of Record
I have alway been told your home of record never changes. That is the address you used when you came in the military. The article at the address above says if you have at least a 1 day break in service, you can change your HOR. You can also change it in the case of a mistake.

My home of record was Colorado, I was based in Arizona, and I moved to Europe when I separated. Everybody at TMO kept saying "oh you will have to pay the difference and it will be expensive!!!"
When I was all said and done, I had to keep asking TMO what I owed them, and it was $0.00
