For those of you that think you do not know anyone at JetBlue or any other airline, get a copy of their seniority list. Go over the list carefully. Have your wife go over it too (maybe she knows a name from OWC days). I was able to get a couple references to a great company from people I lost track of years ago and had no idea where they ended up. Think all the way back to Boat School, ROTC, Zoo, OCS, Pilot Training. The references I got were fine because although I had lost track of the people when we PCS'd they remembered flying with me. If you recognize people but they have not flown with you they may be able to put in a reference or suggest someone else you might know.
Getting a copy of the list is the difficult part. Knowing just one pilot there can make it happen. Once you get the list share it with your Squadron, the buddy system is definitely in order. Your squadron mate may end up being your reference some day.

That's it. Good point. Go Blue!!! I'm extremely excited for JetBlue. Seems like a great place to call home for the long term.

Used LinkedIn - you can type in a search of JetBlue and everyone connected to you that might have connections with someone there will be ranked as 1st, 2nd, 3rd connections - I've found it to be a very useful tool job hunting.

So do you need to have an app in to go? How do you sign up or is it already sold out?

Has anyone from the March 8th Vets in Blue in Florida heard back from jetBlue yet? Just wondering if anyone that was there had been contacted? If so, did you get an interview by phone or email request?

Yes. I personally know a guy who got an email invite just a few days after VIB and has already interviewed. I heard of a gal who also got a last second invite just before the last round of interviews. It was also via email.

Bump.

I still have yet to hear anything, no TBNT or anything. Anyone else in this boat from the March 8th VIB?

Just waiting for the July window to open to apply again.

Don't wait. Blast your apps/resumes to EVERYONE under the sun. I got my airline job from the least expected quarter.
