From what I can tell, that's the active duty message, correct? I looked on myPers today and didn't see anything except FY13 under the Reserve tab.

I turned down the $125k, most liberating feeling ever. Then getting out, cant put a price on options. I also turned down the $10k reserve affiliation bonus. Everything is on my terms from here out.

It's called the Devils Money for a reason.

Cool

I'm in that pool of early eligible. Interestingly enough if they didn't put my group in the early eligible, by this time next year I'm already out and wouldn't have even seen a sniff of an offer from the Air Force. Even if I take the bate, it won't go into affect until next year when after my commitment is up.

What I've gathered from this board so far is to not take the bate and go elsewhere (like Guard/Reserve & Majors).

Guard message is out. First timers can get 4 to 6 years at 25k and others can renew from 2 to 5 years at 15k. You can now collect up to 25 years aviation service. They deleted the 18 year total active federal military service limit from last year.

There is no bonus for part-timers. The AFR and ANG package is for AGR members. I couldn't find info in myPers or any official channel yet but I was emailed the package from a friend.

About a year ago, the NGB/A1 told me they were going to start offering bonuses for DSGs (part-timers) in FY14 in the $3-4K/yr range, but I haven't seen anything materialize. Maybe they reconsidered.
