The new dorms (Bldg 330/331 from what I remember?) have a separate living room and bedroom, but they have the mini fridge. The old dorms have the full size fridge, but aren't as nice from what I remember. Be prepared for many days with no scheduled events depending on class progression, etc, so feel free to bring a bike or hiking gear. or some other plans for your off days.

Can anybody shed any light on what a schedule looks like once you are set up in a guard UAV unit?
Flexibility with drill dates?
Deployments?
I'm coming up on a crossroads for a decision. Basically looking to see how quality of life would look if I live local as a part timer.

Pretty flexible as a part timer (from what I can tell). I'm still waiting to be trained, so take that for what it's worth, but from what I can tell, part timers at my unit just tell the unit when they can work and are slotted in appropriately. Guys on orders have an office day/training day every other week to catch up on paperwork/training items and are not required to drill. Not sure when the part timers accomplish those items.
If by quality of life, you mean getting paid and never having to deploy... I'd say it's pretty high. Beware of boredom is what I'm hearing...
