^^^ everything he said. Spot on. DH who wrote my "quitter" FITREP came calling about a year later.
That FITREP made for a good laugh when I went to the reserves with my front office. They saw right through it. Where it may come back is promotion in the reserves, but hey you already quit once. Who cares? Terminal O-4 is a stress free place to live.

Most (not all) USN SelRes Aviators don't understand how their records stack up against other traditional SelRes members who are doing traditional reserve jobs and how flying in a reserve hardware unit or augment unit, while good work producing for the fleet, is not viewed the same across the reserve component.
