I'm a long-time USAA member frustrated by a decline in the quality across most products. As a result when it came time to refi I went with Navy Federal which turned out to be mistake.
I'm not sure why people raved about NFCU. They didn't return calls, instead I got one-liner email responses that created more questions than they answered. The rates were nothing special and the customer service was well below expectations.
If NFCU is an option, skip them.

looking at a town house most likely. Thats about the only option in order to get a pretty good shape home. Everything else is out of our price range unless we want to take on a dump and have a ton of project we don't have time for. we want to stick around $120-140k. Feel free to PM me names of realtors
