Fedex and Delta are not keen on corporate pilots.
News to me, FDX hired four corporate pilots of my acquaintance—three pure civilian corporate, one retired Army WO and corporate.

They hire corporate pilots, but they don't like them.

Again: this is what I was told after paying for a career consult with a reputable interview prep company. I was consulting them about leaving a Regional for a 135 job. Some other things I was told I did not necessarily agree with. I was also told that I was light on PIC time with a thousand hours of PIC 121 time. Funny how many are getting hired with out any PIC time. I guess it boils down to doing what ever is right for me at the time considering how fickle this business when it comes to hiring.

The prep company people that I know personally, all have really good relationships with recruiters. Not saying they are universally right, but they know what recruiters are seeing guys get hired with. It’s still a very competitive market even though the crop of 10,000 hour RJ captains is drying up. I was told the same thing by recruiters and prep companies, and I think that’s because of the demographic breakdown in new hire classes at the legacies.

Heck even SWA, my buddy from NJA with zero TPIC was in there, he was mostly joined by ex-military and career 121 pilots, with maybe another 135 guy or two. And my NJA buddy has several thousand hours of 121 time prior to NJA. I was the only 135 guy in my airline class.

I have two buddies at UAL that we’re hired from OO with no TPIC time but both were check airmen/Chief Pilots
at their previous companies.

It all depends on how hard you work, and depending on where you lack of qualifications lie, is going to depend on how hard you have to work to get an interview, and prep companies would never be able to tell you exactly how to do it, they can only tell you what recruiters tell them with regard to what they see each month with new hires.

TPIC is a thing of the past. Education is A-number one right now. Which is ridiculous. Like i've said in other posts, the pattern to get an interview is a four year + degree. That outweighs being a CP, ACP, Check Airman.

I’m not sure I’d say it’s a thing of the past, it’s just another points bump like everything else. Education is really important but companies are dropping the degree requirement. That being said I haven’t seen anyone hired without a degree.

From what I hear from recruiters, it’s really a total package that gets looked at. Everyone is using points scoring to stack resumes and although certain stuff is weighed more heavily than others.

I will agree that the metric of “1000 TPIC” being a focal benchmark is a thing of the past though.

They don’t like anybody who didn’t fly off an aircraft carrier.... which explains their attitude.

What do you mean they don't like them? Do they offer everyone else a seat at the interview but make the corporate guys stand?
