That’s basically the reason I don’t do 121. I like the known set schedule and home based. No pressure with commuting, crashpads, etc. Lots of places offering this now. Not just Netjets.

[QUOTE=F16Driver;2608754]I have 10 years at a 121. I walked away from flow. I was gone all the time. I like the 7 and 7 and I like the idea of working directly with customers, (owners). I like the idea of working out of FBOs and I have always enjoyed training with FSI. Grad of the academy. This all being said, I have not been contacted for second portion of interview. Does anyone know when you can re-apply?

Phone interview in January, ended with: You'll hear from us soon about the next step.
It is now June, haven't heard a peep, not a TBNT letter, not a call to schedule another interview.
At this point, if they do call I'll be happy to tell them that I've taken a PIC job part 91.........and that their HR/Hiring process sucks

Having done both, I’ll take my 121 schedule. Even with commuting I would be home more than NJA. I will give it up though, knowing the schedule a year out is great and having 7 days off is great too. But having the flexibility to just bid the days I want off works better for me. Getting to live anywhere and work 7/7 is really nice, it’s a huge benefit

Being gone for 7 days in a row every other week? Yuck.
