Going back through the thread I have seen a few different figures for first year pay. Can anyone give the official pay scale after the contract?

If they were actually drilling that is very illegal... none of the majors would ever do it.. ( I work
In a reserve Squadron with 20 part 121 first officers)

Not really accurate. The scale just went up a little. The new FDPP will create an increase in earnings, but by how much is anyone's guess. Lots of variable factors, many of which you have no control. If you want to discuss on the phone, pm me and I would be happy to help.

Do NOT listen to a recruiter, or Retractable here on APC because they will both flat out lie to you. Look at the current pay scales, add 6% for overtime and another 12,000 dollars in the new IBI soft money and that will probably be close to accurate.

If you are in the guard/reserves the company will work with you. By law they have to. I think it is safe to say that if you are hired the company expects you to come to work as much as possible.

It is true that there was a termination of a pilot that was in the guard/reserves. I don’t know all of the facts but I’m sure it is not as simple as some make it out to be.

Legally they cannot ask any questions for requested military leave under 30 days, no orders, nothing, and they know that, they drop your tour and you don't get paid while out. The federal fine for violating this right is so steep they won't touch it, I think guys get in trouble when they go on long term mil leave, or drop mil leave on short notice on Dec 24th etc., or after 90 days cannot produce orders or just lie and are not on mil leave at all.

This guy was fired from NJA and the Guard. OhSnapAF is leaving out some important details.
