In my two tours since ratification (13 duty days), I've enjoyed an EIGHT HOUR show-go, given up a perfectly good airplane mid-tour in order to experience middle seat, two-leg economy hell all the way across the country (had to call a poo-bah to unwind the hour limo ride to East Nowhere, USA scheduled AFTER the airline....on Christmas Eve....at 11 PM), had 4 12+ hour duty days, 3 minimum rest overnights, a limo ride and an RJ airline scheduled AFTER an 8 hour, two-leg duty day through moderate turbulence with 40 knot winds at both destinations (thankfully, the airline cancelled because of endless delays), remarkable stupidity from "Strategic Operations" too numerous to recount, sat more airport TNTV and hot spare than the last three months combined, and made a whopping total of $800 in FDP.
Yea, real QOL improvements here at good 'ole NutJets.
But hey, it's $800 I didn't have before, right?
I didn't vote yes. Didn't vote no. On purpose.
Now wishing I had voted NO.

I’ve seen an improvement in road QOL. How long it will last I can not guess.
The cultural issues that prevent NJA from reaching it's potential still exist, and in fact seem as entrenched as ever.
We’ve lost a lot of good talent in the last several years and I find that demoralizing.
Hopefully this new CBA is a step in the right direction (along with many other steps to come).

I just think people will start choosing money over QOL. That’s effectively what happened by voting the IBI on property in the first place. Pilots voted yes to being paid more to work more. Time will tell for you guys but there will absolutely be issues on the road for those who want to look the other way when a maintenance squawk comes up, or not fatiguing when they should.

That is your opinion, in my limited experience since the IBI that is not happening, when things break they are written up, when crews are tired they are fatiguing. In my fleet, anecdotally mind you, the scheduling seems a bit saner, but of course time will tell. Cheers : )

I was told by a 19 year captain to just call and not even consult the other pilot if your fatiguing, then there is no pressure, not fight, its all done by the time you tell the Captain your grabbing your bag and headed to the hotel.

This contract passed by the highest percentage yet. I believe it says the group is confident in our union leadership going forward. Yes, there is always improvements that can be made, but it is a two way street and you can't have everything.

It may also say our group is uneducated when it comes to organized labor and that we don't want to or can't push for what LCCs or majors have.
It may also mean without proper section 6 and without the will for it many pilots have given up.
It may also say many will vote Yes for anything with the hopes of not being at NetJets for the later stages of the agreement or another IBI.
It may also say many will retire in 5-15 years and thought this is the best we can do now so why not vote Yes?
It may also say many of us were sick and tired of a large amount of our pilots not working on the road and making life difficult for the past few years with multiple schedule changes per day.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm happy for the improvements but it is far from perfect and I still maintain we sell ourselves short.
Who knows what it means. Time will tell.
What I do know is if you don't like the way NJA is run or if you don't like the culture ... Leave. It ain't changing and nobody is gonna change it.

I suppose at the end of the day, if the pilot group is happy with it, then they have gotten what they deserve (don’t mean that in a snarky way), and have gotten what they’ve asked for in that regard. That’s all that matters really.
