I was lied to, as was everyone in my new hire class (first new hire class since the furlough). But that’s not a big deal. There are people that still bend and twist realty to sell NJA and that is super annoying. Just show what NJA is and let somebody make the decision but be realistic about it.
You remember what you choose to rather than being mature enough to accept that things can change pretty fast in this business and your hire date wasn’t senior enough to weather those changes to your liking.

When members of NJASAP and management look you in the eye and tell you something for a fact, and it turns out to be completely untrue, that would be a lie. Won't say it is happening now, but it absolutely happened in my interview class, and others can chime in if they please. There is always a large amount of speculation and hope that thing will go a certain way, but there is a whole other side when people who should know, are telling you things and saying "I promise" or "I guarantee it".

No, I was lied to. But it is irrelevant now. The promises continue. Upgrades are still well over a decade at NJA but the rank and file keep saying, "yea but it in 6 months in will go down to like 5 years so just hang on."

Upgrades continue at a rate that can be supported by the sims. Post AQP, I wouldn’t be surprised to see that rate increase, which would chew through remaining SICs pretty rapidly right to what your seniority would have been... 26 months from now if it began today. Give it 6 months though to start the clock.
Which means you could then have been a BBD7500 SIC making 200K+ easily flying around the globe. If you pushed it just a bit, add another $50k.
But you’ve got red eyes in the Bus now... so there’s that.

Actually know a couple of “dudes” in the 350 fleet on track to break 400k this year! But they are driven by only one thing in life....$$$ and have no life outside of work.

What are you talking about? I have never heard anyone from management, NJASAP, or the line saying such nonsense. And only a complete fool would believe it even if they did!

Pilots with SDP positions working the 76LT schedule will make 300K this year, maybe without any extended days- depends on how much FDP they get and how many holidays they collect. They have the bonus this year. Next year will require a bunch of extending. Working 25 days a month would push 400K. One SIC I know will push 300K in the Global. He works every day they let him, gets year 17 pay, and has the bonus this year. Lots of SICs will break 200K. Everyone earns the money if they are cranking it out though. I do the 7&7 and can't figure out how I managed the 18 on the small fleets for so long. I can't imagine how hard a guy on the 350 has to work to push 400K. That is crazy.

If you just want money work for the airlines. You will most likely destroy yourself and your family if you are working the max for the money at NetJets.
