it more had to do with knowing your schedule out months in advance for planning. I just flew with a female fo and was curious why she wasn't at united, she was divorced and 7/7 with joint custody worked the best. She couldn't make a airline schedule work. I have flown with a lot of regional pilot and the 7/7 schedule is huge.
I will also admit the 7/7 worked best for me with a young child. My wife was able to adjust her schedule at the hospital to work less when i was away and more when i was home. This was due to that there was no daycare that opened up early enough for her to drop off our son and get to work. However, she had to submit her schedule well before an airline schedule or netjets schedule came out. It truly made the experience painless. I could not imagine juggling a schedule every month and a lot of regional pilots i have talked to say the same.

And I was wrong, base salary on year 2 CA is 122k on 7/7 schedule. Even if you added 50k in FDP, you are talking significantly less than airine FOs make.

That is something we will never know, though I have strong doubts they get stock grants or big bonuses. They likely get a healthy salary, but nothing like bankers or financial bros.

On a normal schedule, and on the current payscale, probably year 14, and that is accounting for an extra 100k in total extra compensation on top of base salary.

The newest captains at NetJets would probably make around 180K without working any extra days over a full year. Probably fairly similar to a major SIC who didn't work the system for premium pay at all or pick up any extra trips. That said, pilots at both NetJets and the majors have many options for making a lot more. A 5 or 6 year captain could probably make 300K at NetJets if they were willing to do the 76 schedule and a lot of extended days, but they will earn it. SICs at the top of the pay scales can do 300K with a lot of extended days and the 8&6 schedule and up. Once again, you have to work a lot of extra days to make the money at NetJets, but it is possible. The amount of work necessary to do it is why captains with 15+ years are starting to leave in greater and greater numbers. The one and 2 year pilots are starting to sieve out to the majors at an even faster rate.
Working 25 days a month isn't realistic unless you are an A-team extended-day queen. Year 14 CA pay on 7/7 (again, a basically compatible amount of days worked per month as an airline schedule) is a little over 200k. Factoring in FDP (this is predicated on a high FDP fleet), after midnights, a few extended days, etc., you would have to make another $100,000 to get to 300k in a manner I would say was made "organically" meaning you worked a standard schedule and basically let the salary come to you, and 100k for added salary on top of base salary is generous.
76LT with some extended days, I could see year 6 or 7 captains making 300k but again, an extra 100k in additional salary is not realistic or likely.

100%, which is why I said around year 14.
