We have had a management shake up recently so hopefully things will get better! Hoping to have a new contract within the next month or so (fingers crossed), and some QOL changes for those of us on the road are supposed to be implemented.

Hopefully this has transitioned over to the hiring process as well.

Contract within a month? Really? That's great...since I'm still swimming I'd love to see the new contract in place before walking in the door!

I got hired right after the 2007 contract was signed...and NJA was flooded with resumes. (The airlines were not hiring like they are now.)

I know that a friend of mine, who was told he was too big for the Phenom (after the "fitment" email) is going to class on Sept 14.

Within these classes, how are people allocated to specific fleets? For example, let's say they have 5 Phenom and 5 XL slots, and presumably all new hires in this class can fit into either, what is the process for allocating people? Choice based on age or SS# like at the airlines?

I have a buddy who is starting soon and he is curious about the process - but happy to be there.

Happen to know when this person interviewed? I'm sure he/she was before me but just curious by how much.

Thanks!
