Go see, you'll see for yourself. Trust me I know plenty about NJA. Very good friend does the hiring! They actually call the Hilton Garden Inn and see how guys act. WATCH OUT! If you network at the interview bank on not getting an offer, if they see it. Do I see a problem with it? Heck no, they do. They plant a mole to watch how the folks act. I know they had a FA interview class come in and they openly were networking each others emails and NO ONE was hired! It's cool I won't post anymore info. You guys have it all figured out, Take care!

Then you have it all figured out man... What I will explain to you, as I have had to explain to some captains that I work with, is that the guys getting hired now have very vast and diverse experience in the industry. Do you think because 10 years ago, the crop of Netjets new hires were fresh CFIs, that this current new hire group is too? It's extremely easy for everyone to do lots of research on a company. I promise you, I did months of extensive research on NetJets before I came here. I'll let you in on another secret, not all new hires just instantly think this is a career job. Not everyone thinks like you, and if you think Flex is better in ANY way than NetJets, you don't have your finger on the pulse of the industry.

Default Hiring Quals

Just curious what qualifications those being hired (or even interviewed) have. Does everyone have jet time? Instructor or Check Airman, Management experience, Degree, etc?

The backgrounds have varied wildly. That said, I believe everyone hired so far had at least some type of turbine time.

To answer the other questions - yes, yes, yes, and yes. As I mentioned, no two new hires are alike other than having good customer service backgrounds. I think it comes down to personality more than anything.

Good luck.

The experience level I saw at my interview was on par with any airline. It was a good split of mil/non mil. Almost everyone was a CFII, almost everyone had around 4000 hrs. I'm pretty sure everyone had a degree.

Don't believe the nonsense about moles, and hotel clerks letting them know who is networking. I was downstairs drinking beer with NJ captains every night and I was hired. My sim partner and I even had a couple of them help us out with the sim profile. Why would the company want people that don't talk to others? I would hire the guy that's already proved he gets along with crew members over the guy that disappears to his room.

Now back to our normal thread. No news on early may interview class getting a training date.

This is true. Guy from my interview group got the call but had to bypass. He's a fit for the Phenom tho. Apparently the next class is planned for mid October...

I am sorry to be late in this conversation. But, any idea how long it takes to hear back once an app is submitted? (Assuming I fit what they need, want, etc.) thanks!
