On a serious note... those who wish to apply, please remember your getting paid 60% of legacy pay and upgrades are 10-15 years.
On the flip side, you can pretty much live where you wish and have great medical benefits. Flying is great, owners can be a pain.
Many FOs are looking elsewhere, if only b/c of the loooooong upgrades. Heck, Im a 10 yr FO and won't see upgrade for another 5-10 years. Furthermore, I can make more at year 3 at United then I could at year 10 at NJ. Captains are generally happy with the new contract and many will post here that it is a great job.
Just my .02. Go into it knowing the pros and cons.

It will take about 30+ years to upgrade

He could upgrade next year or in 10 years. The few guys still left from my class are somewhere around 400 numbers away at year 9!!! Even if NJA upgraded 50 a year ( doubtful), they're still 8 years away!! That would be a 17 year upgrade BEST case scenario...into a Phenom

To be honest, upgrades are undetermined.. ( no true growth, uncertain attrition)... I know a late 2005 hire that is still 40-60 numbers away, and has been that close for the last 7-8 years.
