There's a high volume of commuters back and forth from Chicago. The good news is that there's a lot of flights. I hear it's not too bad, but I've never tried it. You should be ok, at least there's a lot of options.

Yup. I have not forgotten how he loved to run his mouth about how he would "never go to Colgan." I have called him on this and he refuses to embrace his past by coming clean on his "old feelings."

Commuting to reserve from anywhere sucks. I've never gone through Chicago...I met an Eagle FA who lived in Cleveland and said that commute wasn't too bad. No idea on Newark. I'm sure it's manageable.

On that note...if you live in Chicago, why not Eagle?

Let me correct you... It was a year before I joined them when I bashed them. I went to the interview because friends that were there said things were changing quickly. I talked to the HR folks at the interview and they put it to me straight "What you know of the old Colgan is gone". Ask any old timer at 9L, its night and day difference now. Would I have come here if they had the same practices back when I criticized them? Absolutely not.

Now let me correct you again. You were bashing Colgan a month before you joined them. Your current post totally contradicts your previous comments to the fullest. I know you are going to deny it but remember aviation is a small world.
I am sure you liked what they had to say at the interview, but the question is, which regional would claim to be lowest paying bottom feeder?
I sincerely hope "Juice" and rest of the Colgan guys read this so that they can have a little soap party with you.

Wow... I guess when push comes to shove some people sing a different tune.

I know that when I was a CFI for 3 years nearly everybody I worked with snickered about American Eagle daily. They were all smug in their "decade to upgrade" cliches.

Now...every single one of them calls me DAILY begging for a reference to come to Eagle. Some of them burned bridges with me so badly they ask others to intercede on their behalf.

Very funny how quickly things can change in this industry. That is why I always tell people to keep their mouths shut and just focus on your goals.
