It wont really matter anyways with the upcoming shortage, might as well have higher pay and a better qol. If you're up for a low qol or having no life at all, join a commuter. Honestly guys ***** and complain all the time at regional operators but at the same time they're not in a real hurry to get out unless delta or southwest calls because after all it does give them a decent living.

I have heard $18.50. No idea how many hours per month.

1900s will not be in Florida. FLL and MIA will be Saab bases.

But, as many have said, that wont last long. And, the Saab is a transport category aircraft. 30+ seats. You can parlay that for a good seat at a better op. from a life-career perspective.

Sucks that they lock you in on the B1900 for a year.
Dude we all know what a Saab is. Loose the "transport category" hardon!

I know, I know. But I think we all know there appear to be two Silver Airways. That which gives you what you need to move to the majors and that which does not. =\

Can anyone tell me about schedules on the moon? I mean, in Billings? 4 on 3 off? Return to Billings every night? Out on trips?

It all depends on the job climate. I know guys that had 500tpic in a Saab and went to fly MD11s. Colgan guys have gone to Continental, United, Airways, Northwest, Delta, Virgin America, JetBlue, etc.

In some states, you could get arrested if you did that in public.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what the pilot training schedule is like? Looks like I may be in the 07/09 class. Just wondering if its a 7 days a week thing, weekends off, etc. What about a training footprint? Time from Indoc to IOE?
