Another question reg min flight experience... Posted mins are 1500 TT with 500 Multi.
Are you guys sticking firm on the posted minimums or is the company flexible on Times ...??

550 total on property. They are a "little" flexible but you need to be close on the total time. You have to be close enough to 1500 so that you can get through training and make the ATP rule by next August. I would say you have a chance for interview if you have around 1200 hrs. I would apply with anything over 1000 total though. You will fly so you never know.

Would it be against any rules to post all the questions I can remember from the written test on here? I could just pm them as well if anyone wants.

Please don't !!! It will ruin it for people to come! Info will get leaked as needed , not from an open forum

Just FYI they just added two more bases to our system. ATL and IAD are now going to be bases as well as all the others. They will be small reserve only bases.

Are direct entry CAs still being hired? If so, what kind of times?

Not at the moment, or so I've heard. There's a lot of moving parts right now and there should be some clarity upon release of the results from the system staffing bid.

Staffing bids just came out. Looks like we need FO's bad. Idk why APC updated us as "not hiring". We are definitely hiring FO's to the best of my knowledge and according to the website. Silver Airways

Agreed. As per the staffing bid, there are 36 open FO slots on the Saab. Not to mention the amount of FOs who might upgrade during the 12 months that they have to implement these awards...

Hi all,
I'm new to this thread and I had a few questions in regards to Silver Airways for current Silver Airways employees and the senior pilots.
I start class this Tuesday the 24 for an FO position in the Saab340. I was wondering how long should i expect to be on reserve for? I've also heard things that major U.S airlines and international airlines such as Emirates and Qatar don't look Turbo-Prop time the same way as Jet time...is this true?
