According to eyewitness testimony (the senior F/As and 1st Saab class CAs I fly with) our VPDO said there will be a SSB at the end of February in his statements to the recurrent ground school class in January. I know from experience that they ran a pref bid last May (I was awarded SF3 FLL in that one) and there was a SSB at the end of June while I was in MSP. I believe the pref bid they just ran was a sucker bid to exempt the company from moving expenses in the forthcoming SSB.

Union groups in Fiji and abroad claim that Pflieger, as head of the national airline in the military-dominated country, played an instrumental role in drafting the 2011 Essential National Industries (Employment) Decree, which human rights groups say eliminated collective bargaining and worker rights.

Hmmm, the article reads: "...A spokesperson for Silver Airways indicated he was unaware of any controversy surrounding Pfleiger and his role at Air Pacific..." Why does that not surprise me!!

This shouldn't surprise anybody. This ********* David Pfileger should mesh very well with your tyrant CP Ed Knapp!

Silver is and always will be a piece of crap airline! Please don't go there, its a waste of time, literally. They don't give a crap about the employees, Crew Scheduling is a royal mess and MX is getting back to it's normal GIA days. Actually this airline is worse than the Gulfstream days
