The problem is the lines change. So what looks good in one base on one month changes the next. For instance MEI now has 2 lines with 1 overnight in ATL a month. I think with the GNV-ATL route ending we will see some changes to the lines as flying shuffles around. IIRC the overnight was done by a GNV crew, so maybe they can change lines around and make use of us a little bit more. It's certainly possible.

Also I heard lwt might be loosing EAS altogether as the federal subsidy exceeds $1000 per passenger. It's just over $2000 per passenger. More than twice what the federal program allows.

On that note anyone know when the next Saab class is?
Hope it's 946 from the Cleveland system! Junk! As far as new hire classes, the Company says they are "fat" on pilots right now, at least until they get these last few Saabs on property. So take that for what it's worth.

Some of our 1900s have nicknames. 935 is the Bahama Mama due to its former paint job. 946 I called the Cleveland Steamer. I once had 4 MX issues crop up in one leg!

So did we just buy our code share partner?

I hope not... In my experience airline mergers are generally not good for the pilot group

Guys I'm sure you saw the email about one of our team members losing their house to a fire if not check your mail. I think the least we can do is donate an hours worth of pay to the fundraiser to help out her and her family. Spread the word please!

Not sure what to think of this, but a friend of mine who commutes out of PNS (works for UAL) said that Silver is no longer code sharing with United out of PNS as of June 1st. This person is not one to start stuff, but I haven't been able to confirm this.

Well, if Silver management thinks they can go it alone without any code shares, one only has to look at the littered past of airlines that have come and gone. The old saying goes: if you don't learn from history, you're bound to repeat it.
