I bring that up sarcastically every time I see our ground crew screw up and cause a needless delay. Or when I see (and have to ferry) the aftermath of MX running an airplane into a GPU. We got $1000 bonuses at Christmas in 2011, not this year. All we got were stupid t-shirts that they then told us to wear on the day the award was announced. I'm thinking the reason is because the bonus money went to the bribe that got us the award. Lord knows how we actually earned it after watching the events of the past year. Massive delays, low completion factor due to WX ad MX, airplane landing at the wrong airport, no more snacks inflight. Hard to believe that all the other regionals were somehow WORSE than us for the award to be legit.

It literally is a cliche: My airline was voted "Regional Airline of the Year," and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.

 

Now that is some funny *******. I am gonna have t-shirts made up that say this. Who wants one? Any color ideas? Maybe I could have my Saab avatar picture put on them.... I can drop them in the ATL and IAD systems.

Would you not have the same complaints about Silver if they were flying jets?
Are you happy with the company or not - regardles of what type of airplane you are flying.
