Opinions:

Completed the application but realized after I went home that I only did PRIA paperwork for my 2 airline jobs and not my CFI jobs. One of them I know wont respond anyway cause he does not keep records. I emailed HR, today at 4p so obviously no response. Should I be concerned about this?

Is it because you have an AWESOME PM? You're a good PM for me.

When will you be up in Orlando? The 1900 sim is sick! Looking forward to getting in that.

We don't make a big paycheck, but this place is so far worth the effort.
Is this you JJ? See ya sunday in Orlando, Ill help you study for the oral now that Cruz and I passed our Orals.

Are you doing observation flights, going over to the hanger to sit in the cockpit if your instrument BAI skills are slow, are you working on your scan, on flight simulator?
This company WANTS YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL, however, don't say, I showed up,they NEED ME. If they don't see the effort, well, it may end badly for ya.

As your soon to be ground instructor will tell those of you that will be in class soon, it's ok if you need extra sessions here in FLL, you want that before you go to MCO. Hope this helps anyone, and the new hires.
Have you followed your own advice? FYI there is a limit of how much "extra training" this company will give, and its not more than 2 or 3. Show up to Orlando with your A game

Or you might have to switch antennas. Does your airplane have an upper and lower antenna Cruz? Or you might have to cycle it - off/on. Has happened to me a few times. OR - they might have left it off. Yep - done that too even when it was on the checklist

Nothing was mentioned about the Jepp binders. That Honey Badger sticker rocks dude I'm so guna put that on my flight case! Thanks for introducing that to me guys life is now complete. I think we have one antenna but dual transponders. It should be just a matter of switching from one to the other, but don't quote me on that. Wish I could be there to study with ya'll, but I know you'll be fine so no worries.

I never expected this company to give to anyone unlimited cockpit procedures training (cpt) If someone is struggling like not having flown instruments in AWHILE they will understand that. Like the first group up in MCO, they all had extra sessions because some hadn't flown in a couple years, so it was a struggle for them.

We all know that if your not flying regulary (a significant break) and especially IFR, training can be extra challenging. So to say that this company only gives 2 or 3 extra sim sessions then the first group that went to Orlando- they all should have washed out. Since you and your buddy had time coming into the g/s I'm sure it was easier for you.

Soooooo, rather than make statements that make you look like an arrogant jerk maybe you should realize we all have different backgrounds, like the company does.

Are there any listings in the crew rooms / training center for rooms or crashpads in BIL or the PA bases? Is it realistic to find a crashpad or room for $150 -$250 / month?

Are you looking for just a room or an apartment... theres plenty of listings on craigslist for rooms. Single bed apartments are running about $500, but you can find a 3br and split it with two others and it would only cost you about $300 a month..

Yesterday I did my interview with CP Chriss and a FO. Was easy and yes the FO give me the scenario where you are at ground ready to fly and something on the systems broke and is a required equipment. The Captain tell you that have being flying the airplane for 20 years and that's no a problem. What would you do?

Then the written where I score well, its easy and they give you a jepp app chart for the exam wich have like 10-15 from that chart. The minimum its 70 to score.

The sim, was like flying Flight Simulator (not that easy, lol) but you have to watch all the time your altitude. I flew Sarasota departing South to 2k and the flying to the VOR and tell him the entry for whatever holding they give (I don't even need fly the circle). And last vector for the ILS. Tip, keep 500ft per mins. on you GS. The guy was nice with me, he set everything for you. I just use the throttle and yoke. He also say that he expect me there on Febrary.

The Airline is really growing that was said by the sim instructor. And he has being working with them for many years.

Now just wait for the email or call wish have to be on this week or next one that what Lily (I'm not sure of her name) said.

Btw... Next class it's Febraury 20th, I think!
