By the way, for the people interested in Silver reading this thread were still accepting resumes and applications for a limited time only! Act now and you too may be chosen to work for ATW's 2013 regional airline of the galaxy

That being said, you want to see what a couple years in this business does to you go read Cruz's posts from when he first got hired and then read his latest ones. The progression is quite entertaining.(ps enjoy the Q.) Good luck at silver and welcome. Tell all your friends to come here so I can upgrade!
If anything it ought to show the future hires into the industry that the shine/allure wears off quickly.

I remember how excited I was at first. One of the best times of my life was my first 3-4 months here. Now ill look back on the friends I've made through this company and realize that was the only positive I can speak about this place. Thankfully I have that new found enthusiasm and can't wait to start at a new place in a new plane and new part of the country. Still going to miss all you guys though.

>>>it is quite interesting to see the downslide of attitudes from the 'wanting to get hired at their first airline' excitement and wonderment to the present attitudes displayed similar to the previous few posts.
What you are referring to there is called disillusionment.
Today’s vocabulary lesson – Disillusionment
“A feeling that arises from the discovery that something is not what it was anticipated to be, commonly held to be stronger than disappointment especially when a belief central to one’s identity is shown to be false.”
