How is it inaccurate and biased? Three of the four choices favor out station basing. You can make a poll if you want, but the vote is still going to be around 90% saying that they do not like out station basing. Seems pretty fair and accurate to me.

New rumor: Hulas is going to buy silver, just like he did compass. Just to get everyone who went over back under the Uncle Hulie umbrella.

You got 50 people (not all Silver employees) that have voted.... Thats not even 90% of our current pilot group... Moving on... I'm over it...

Am I in favor of hub basing? Yes because I commute and it would make life much easier. That being said, being based in both the ATL and IAD networks has allowed me to explore parts of the country I would otherwise never go to. Yes, Greenville is a dump but its got killer blues bars and BBQ. The Appalachian region is very quaint and the scenery is great. Outstation basing isn't all terrible- you just have to make the best of it

Anyone go on ***************.com and see the Silver Airways post? Location says Indiana. Hmm interesting

Well that's awkward
*Found it, indeed. Silver Airways, a United Airlines codeshare partner, is currently seeking qualified First Officers for exciting career opportunities. Silver Airways operates a growing fleet of Saab 340B+ and Beechcraft 1900 aircraft. Silver Airways offers competitive benefit packages and wage compensation programs, in addition to full flight benefits on the largest and most comprehensive airline system operating today. Currently, Silver Airways services major Florida destinations, such as Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, and Key West. We also reach seven locations in The Bahamas – more than any other U.S. airline. Plus, we’re reaching key international destinations within the Caribbean with our seasonal charter service. We’re also serving new markets out of Atlanta to key cities in the Southeast. We connect communities in the Mid-Atlantic and the Industrial Heartland to Washington, D.C. and Cleveland, with an additional route network in Montana. Silver Airways growth is expected to bring additional bases and hubs in the very near future. |
