I wish, bro. If I'd known the upgrade situation in advance, I'd have stayed on the 1900 and upgraded while transitioning, as others did.

I agree with you guys being upset, and how the airline is looking to check a box so cheaply and not fulfill the safety intent of the regulation. But the ATP course is designed for people with little or no experience to pass the training in 2 days. Is no ideal but is not a course that is that difficult. During this testing you don't need to tear the seminole apart and put it back together. There is a difference between a type rating oral and checking and one just for an ATP. I agree with you guys that it sucks but is not something that is impossible.

Any more ATL guys seeing their block times changed not to match the logbook? Ironically the company spoke of pilots stealing time, but now were getting jipped by the out stations, especially when you over block. I'm sure it's not only isolated to ATL stations.

Should of said to and from the trips that start outside of the domicile ie: im based in sdf and if my trips starts and finish in Tpa then ups has to get me comm ticket but if starts and finishes in sdf im responsible for my own positioning. About 80% of our trips has comm tickets and the rest are start in domicile but either way thank you for the ride wether its jumping or paying:):)

I'm starting to wonder if I'll see more DECs hired before they let us upgrade.

Definitely scab material, I think I know who it is, shady stuff. The Tom cooper days are gone, so should Mickey Mouse crap like that. Then again management shouldn't be cutting back door deals either behind the cba, not a good taste on a change of administration. |
Does anyone think any of the DECs will be bumped out of their captain position when a new staffing bid comes out?!? Seniority is everything and I'm ok with that. Just need to know for planning purposes!!
