Don't know if you realize, but we just got a notification that there is now a reciprocal jumpseat between Silver and UPS.

I would be happy to have you or any of your UPS brethren jumpseat any time.

Appreciate the offer but per our contract ups is obligated to position the crews to and from the trip via commercial tickets. Its not right to use jumpsest for work since commercial tickets are available to us and its not fair to take money from you when that money its available to me but thank you. Plus I like to hang out at bar at the airports after a long week trip:D

Should of said to and from the trips that start outside of the domicile ie: im based in sdf and if my trips starts and finish in Tpa then ups has to get me comm ticket but if starts and finishes in sdf im responsible for my own positioning. About 80% of our trips has comm tickets and the rest are start in domicile but either way thank you for the ride wether its jumping or paying:):)

Who and where did these 1900 guys go off to?

Dunno who, but per someone in the training department, a few guys have put in a letter of resignation. Few going to United, couple to Jetblue, etc...

Well I think AOO has an open line for FOs this month. Not sure how that's getting covered.

IAD is needing a reserve FO and ATL is needing two reserve CAs

Come to IAD with me...I have protein shakes.....bring your own blender bottle though.

I'd love to, but I'm equip. locked for 1 year... and at the rate captains on the Beech are leaving, hopefully I'll get captain upgrade as soon as I qualify for one... however, since we can go captain beech to captain Saab, i'll reconsider it after this 1 year is up... :-) . The only reason I'd leave the quicker Beech upgrade is for the easier commute. Coming from Chicago, I read the June bid packet tonight to get an idea of what the days are like.... Hot damn is all I can say... I need 3 days off to make a trip back home worth it... What's the Saab upgrade times these days?

No, or not.

Don't lie. We know you're pulling up that hello kitty bag up to the computer as we speak!

I'll let you know as soon as they start running them. I've been senior enough to hold left seat Saab for quite a while now, and they still haven't gotten an upgrade program running yet. I'm starting to wonder if I'll see more DECs hired before they let us upgrade.

They got away with that already and those PFTers bent over and took it. Will you?

I think most of the PFTs were already CAs when the DEC class came along. If they do another DEC class, what exactly is my recourse? Resign? Start over at another crappy regional at first year pay on reserve all over again? At least this place HAS to pay me as a CA if they hire more street CAs. I'd have a much better QOL making CA pay as a senior FO at Silver than any other option short of a major. And after a couple of years, I may not even need PIC time to get there. There isn't going to be much attrition at the very top of the list at 3M, since most of the top 50 or so are probably lifers. So, as a senior FO on CA pay, I can live in Florida and make more $$$
