Don't know if you realize, but we just got a notification that there is now a reciprocal jumpseat between Silver and UPS. I would be happy to have you or any of your UPS brethren jumpseat any time. |

Appreciate the offer but per our contract ups is obligated to position the crews to and from the trip via commercial tickets. Its not right to use jumpsest for work since commercial tickets are available to us and its not fair to take money from you when that money its available to me but thank you. Plus I like to hang out at bar at the airports after a long week trip:D

PFFFFT, ******* that man... I wouldn't go back there if they paid me 4x the monthly guarantee plus a 24 hr rolling per diem...
Dunno who, but per someone in the training department, a few guys have put in a letter of resignation. Few going to United, couple to Jetblue, etc... I'd love to, but I'm equip. locked for 1 year... and at the rate captains on the Beech are leaving, hopefully I'll get captain upgrade as soon as I qualify for one... however, since we can go captain beech to captain Saab, i'll reconsider it after this 1 year is up... :-) . The only reason I'd leave the quicker Beech upgrade is for the easier commute. Coming from Chicago, I read the June bid packet tonight to get an idea of what the days are like.... Hot damn is all I can say... I need 3 days off to make a trip back home worth it... What's the Saab upgrade times these days? |

I'll let you know as soon as they start running them. I've been senior enough to hold left seat Saab for quite a while now, and they still haven't gotten an upgrade program running yet. I'm starting to wonder if I'll see more DECs hired before they let us upgrade.
