Management when you read this:

We need a bone, something to look forward to, right now upgrades are no where, no hope for fo's captains will be downgraded, give some positive and excising news that hasn't happened for over 2 years almost. Make reasons people want to come to silver no just because it is the only place that has hired them.
They outlined upgrades in Dec and Jan. No capt have been downgraded to date and the ones on the list are DEC. Why do you feel they should throw you a bone? Its the same job it has been. If your no longer satisfied and a bone is being offered to you else where, go get it.

Cruz glad to see you have moved on. I also respect the way you and other pilots treated me when I left "SLIPPER" Airways. Happy to see you are telling the truth about that place. But I will say this to USMC, You guys tried to warn us newbies about SLIPPER and we defended the place. I know I did.

But they showed me and and others what they were all about early on and then tried to bash us by saying we were the ones with the problem. I still hear about the crap they pull on pilots and others. I will admit and tell you USMC you were RIGHT- YOU and others. SLIPPERS' pilot group the ones I was with- those guys and gals were awesome. I wish nothing but the best for you all.

Blue skies everyone, blue skies.

Good points On Autopilot - but one correction, or clarification, to your post. I never gave any advice about Silver - good or bad - as I had no first, or second hand, information about them.
I have simply followed the thread, and tried to moderate it in such a way as to keep it open, from the beginning.
I only knew it was a rehash of an older operation who had a very bad reputation for some past practices and had hoped that they actually had turned over a new leaf.
It doesn't take someone who has been there though to see some calling down on people who are simply following in their own shoes.

The United pref. interview process to my understanding goes like this:
1) After putting in your time at Silver, you will get a pref interview at a United Express Jet operator i.e ExpressJet, GoJet.
2)Once completing your time their, and have obtained PIC time you will then be allowed to interview with United mainline and be based at Guam on airport ready RSV for 8hrs a day.
*just speculating*

Pref. interview at the place where most of our FOs have left for already? Sounds about right. Wouldn't surprise me if that actually WAS the deal they try to sell us. Only way it would fly with this group is if you go there as a DEC. Otherwise about as useful as an L-shaped condom...
