Why do you care? Your flying a 707 left seat...
They make less than the retard crapping his diaper welcoming you to Walmart. Really what is going on now these days? Your asking how much someone at silver makes?
So My real question for you is what is wrong. Be honest please. Do you have a bunch of DUIs?, other crazy criminal past?, bad pilot with tons of failures?, no college degree?, not born in USA I bet 100%? Uuuug how much longer do we have to deal with these guys? Go home.
You know these gulfstream pukes really have a lot to answer for imo. They infected that joke pinnacle and those rankes. Next up most these guys dont have degrees so when that barf contract came to a vote a year or 2 ago they were the yes men. This all slid downhill and screwed the rest of us. Now this gulfstream operation that calls itself "silver" and is still spraying diarrhea all over our profession. If it was not for gulfstream there would be no pinnacle, and with out those guys there would be no JetU or whatever it was. These guys are the Ebola that infected and took short cuts. Silvers history is a bunch of hacks, they are all at pinnacle now and flunking their delta interviews.

I'm in the Air Force and have the opportunity to get off Active Duty 5 years before my commitment is up and if I don't take this opportunity now I may be stuck on Active Duty for 5 more years. With that said I have about 1200 TPIC and 1700 Total Time so my Total Time is a little low for the Majors and Legacy's right now, but I don't mind spending a year or two at a Regional to build my Total Time without any need to stick around long to get to the left seat due to the TPIC I was able to get in the Air Force and will continue to be able to get in the Guard.
My wife is going back to school in Tampa so for me location is the most important thing and considering Silver is a Florida based airline it seems like a perfect fit. I will also have a part time Guard job so I'm just trying to figure out if we can survive for the next couple years on my Regional and Guard pay until a Major/Legacy calls.
Btw talk about a **** poor attitude dude. Thank you for the total lack of respect towards someone you know nothing about. Best of luck to you.

Am I crazy for thinking that flying all over Florida and the Bahama's with Silver will be a lot of fun? I grew up in Florida flying general aviation all over the state, the Keys, and the Bahama's and I miss that flying the most. I know Regional flying is tough, but am I crazy to be excited about leaving a 6 figure job in the Air Force that comes with a lot of bull$hit for a job making $25k a year, but gets me back to the flying I love the most?

First if I don't take this opportunity at an early out now there is a good chance I will have to stay another 5 years until the end of my commitment and considering if I can get picked up by a Major/Legacy in the next 1-2 years that could mean a lot of seniority time missed out on.
Secondly there is the constant fear of getting sent to a UAV in the Air Force and should that happen not only do I miss out on logging time, but my recency of experience goes to hell and I'm really screwed when I get out.
And last, but not least I am so unbelievably over the bull$hit in the Air Force. I am ready for flying to be my primary job again and ready to put my roots down in the Southeast for good even if that means I have to commute to my airline job.
Right now the Air Force is offering a decent separation pay to "thin" the force and I have already applied for it so I should know here in a few weeks whether it was approved or not.

The incredible amount of BS and lack of respect you'll receive at Silver will make you regret either leaving active duty or nt going somewhere else. You'd be much better served going to another carrier and commuting then dealing with the mess that is Silver. It most likely take a good few months if not more to hold Tampa.
