The Silver route structure looks like it would be a fun place to work. I suggested he check into it.

Is Silver a fun place? Yah, I noticed the pay (or lack thereof), but is it fun?

“Fun” don’t pay the bills son!!

Is commuting from PNS possible?

Yes.

There have been Silver crew members who commuted between PNS and MCO. And, I have also seen crew members from American, Spirit, Frontier, Jet Blue and Delta commute between PNS and either FLL or MCO on our flights.

Silver is the old Gulfstream international. Your resume for future jobs will look better if you look at other 121 jobs.

Correct, Silver used to be Gulfstream. However, I don’t think the folks in charge of hiring at legacy/cargo airlines care about that. They stopped the pay to play stuff a long time ago.

Under your deluded logic Southwest is the old Valujet.

I got hired at United directly from Silver (albeit I had other airline experience before that as well). Pretty sure most majors are more interested in what kind of person you are rather than what idiotic management team ran the airline!!
