In my experience the small group thing works really well! That is what I will be looking for. I also have found the more you study with your sim partner and get to know them the better / easier sims will go. If I am your sim partner please be ready to study and drink! :D

It really does.

You down in FLL yet?

Not a basketball fan, but I'll welcome the chance to get out of the hotel for a bit.

I haven't seen any of you yet, but today, let me know if you all wanna meet up somewhere today. Otherwise I will be studying my tail off. Anyone know how to get to the training center in the morning?

The hotel shuttle should be able to take you. It just about 5 blocks down the road from the Fairfield by publix. The springhill did it for us I would hope they would too

TPIC vs. TSIC... however, there is that turboprop stigma attached. Some argue that turbroprop time is inferior to jet time (not me however), but it's still TPIC regardless. I think Silver is going to grow, I'd take the PIC job.

Also, I have quite a few friends with turboprop only PIC time that went to Delta, SWA, etc. I know there are a couple airlines, (B6) that like jet/FMS/glass time, but I think with the impending movement it won't matter. Hell, I think TPIC won't matter in a few years. We'll be seeing a lot more regional FO's to straight to mainline FO.

Clear as mud? :D

$39/hr vs. $22/hr

turbine PIC vs. turbine SIC

ugly prop plane vs. shiny jet plane

There are several airlines with RJs hiring FOs. There aren't too many airlines hiring street captains, so I'd image the opportunity will not last too long.

In captain training now with 3M. Everything has been great, really no left overs (except pilots and they all seem to be good guys) from GIA days. Very professional with A LOT of growth potential and expectations. Awesome accomadations for training (your own suite less than a mile from the training building). Etc etc...:D
