They used to give u a 1900 poster wonder if they ordered the Saab ones yet. Studying over some beers pool side with flash cards quizzing each other worked great. Hot tub studying. Depending on your class size I'd volunteer to go first for sims, get to IOE and out to the line.

Get to know your OM1 since it applies to Saab guys as well remember the section names as they ask on the indoc test.

Not sure how the Saab training will compare to the 1900, buts use whatever free days you have to go over stuff like the memorization items. If its anything like the 1900 training, you'll get a lot of stuff thrown at you at the very end and wish you were better prepared... of course the Ale House around the corner helped with that...

Staggering from there to the hotel and yelling out the memory items.

Did you get the Dropbox email from the company?
It had links to stuff for the Saab in .pdf format.

Can someone forward this to me? I'd like to start looking over saab stuff incase I'm in one of the transition classes coming up.

Don't see an om1 in our files , just om11, qrh, qrc, ck list card

Thanks for the info! I got my ATP written done scored in 90s, glad that's done!

Love the two crew study idea!

Not suprised.

There is stuff in an Operations Manual that shouldn't be exposed to downloads over the internet.

You mean stuff like security and things like that? Ohh, yea... Please folks know your entire job and not just memorize limitations and memory items please!!!
Don't sweat that the memory items and limitations, just know them and as well as you know the rest of your work. The better you know your airplane the easier that limitations and memory items become.

Truth!

For those new to 121 operations, this is really good advice.

There are parts of the job that don't involve flying the airplane.

Thanks for that advice, will do my best. I'm reading everything they sent over cover to cover.

In my experience the small group thing works really well! That is what I will be looking for. I also have found the more you study with your sim partner and get to know them the better / easier sims will go. If I am your sim partner please be ready to study and drink! :D
