Feb is all CAs (just 2 FOs). Rumor is March is about the same...
Besides the 2 FOs going in Feb20, anyone of the many FO interviews back in January heard any good or bad feedback?

Nothing yet.

Nothing here either. I got thru with Julie in HR yesterday. She said sit tight, they don't know what they're doing yet. :(

Well I saw all the name tags for the next class I am a little disappointed not to have more people in the class but at least it will fit in that class room because too much more it is too cramped. Anyways have fun and don't worry just "know the whole book" that's the joke because that is what everyone keeps telling us. In reality the review will tell you most you need to know to at least get by. start to get to know your run ups when you feel comfortable. You all should have your travel arrangements by now if your class starts on monday or does it start on the 23 not sure. Off to Orlando ask the right questions and I will answer.

Just curious if the numbers the chief pilot told me were correct. Seems that way then. March he said will be 20 Captains.

I couldn't tell you whats changed since I haven't been here before the buyout, but from what everyone is saying it's better than before. Pay 1st yr on the 1900 is $19/hr.

Commutair made $19.53/hr (with an 82 hr. gar.) on the 1900 9 years ago...

BTW, that is equivalent to $24.39/hr in today's dollars.....

OR

It's equivalent to pulling down $15.20/hr in 2003.... FA's at regionals made more than that.

Hope you don't have to stay long, or you find a better gig. Good luck.

Can someone there list the bases in seniority, and also the how long it takes to hold ktpa.

nancy33 02-24-2012 06:12 AM

TPA is the most senior base maybe hold it in 6 months to a year but it will be on reserve for a long time I heard of one guy getting it out of training but like I said you sit reserve for a long time they should be opening gainsville and FLL is not impossible but 85% of us are going north for the first year
