The previous post is fairly close to what's going on...................................
1. It depends on where you are based. If hired as B-1900 Capt. you are probably going
to be sent to Billings MT. You would probably be on reserve and the lines are all two to four day trips. Not sure if the reserves up there fly much so probably about 30-33k. If you are in Fl all reserves are flying way beyond guarantee and are on pace to make much more. If I see a reserve guy I'll ask. All 1900 pilots in Fl & northeast get and extra $1.75 per min we arrive ahead of schedule on all flights so that will help if you are based there.
2. The pay scale here on Apc is close to accurate on sf340 pay but they are not hiring capt for that yet.
3. The company offers three plans with different monthy contribution ranging from $90 -$ 300 per month. Fortunatly I have a spouse with a better plan.
4. Some of them are but depending on where you are commuting from I here it may not be easy some times. The guys I have spoke to have to go thru DEN or MSP sometimes even SLC or LAX to get back east good luck with that.
5. FLL and TPA are the most commutable followed by BIL the least are the northeast outstation bases.
Contract signed last year and I believe its good for 4 or 5 years.
Good Luck hope this helps.

OK, now take this for what it's worth, but Tampa 2 posted in his bullet points that the monthly contributions are between $90-$300/month, which was confirmed by UNoobsHaveNoClu. My guess is that if you were told up to $1,000 per month, then that's what is charged at the beginning and for some time thereafter. If I recall correctly, AE new hires have to pay MUCH higher rates for the first six months or something like that. After whatever the time period is, the rates come down to "normal" levels.
