I hardly ever review a company or a business, but in Seaborne's case I feel it's a moral obligation to say something. so here is my experiance with Seaborne. On the SAAB-340 side
On the positive side :
Great weather during winter
lovely beaches and lots of touristic attractions in the island.
on the Dark side I have worked with many US and International outfits. By far this company is the most unprofessional and unorganized airline I have seen. Right off the bat if you are not a local Puerto rican you are considered a second class employee.
Training program is a joke also couple of people in training department are ridiculously rude and obnoxious no common sense or any decency or respect when it comes to treating pilots new hires or on line. specially if you are not from the island.
Job security is zero to none. Many employees get laid off with no warnings or reasonable heads up so they can prepare. including pilots happened the year before when company with going through some financial hardship and management dramatic episode.. (another long drama story).
they advertise for flight benefits and CASS benefits is Joke and CASS good luck with that especially off the island. I would rate it 2/10.
Cost of living Puerto Rico is very high ( food , gas , transportation...) Also you have to choose carefully where you reside lots of bad areas with high crime rate and violence.
Driving is very challenging roads are always congested and drivers are very aggressive.
Language barrier is a HUGE challenge.
Police is very different over there don't seem very enthusiastic doing there job.
That is my two cents. I hope it helps. it's a personal opinion please do your homework before committing to this company

The deal with Southern Airways fell apart. Seaborne has too many skeletons in the closet. I'm guessing a fire sale to Silver is next!!!
As for the seaplane adventure, St Croix is a far better place to live than Puerto Rico, but the cost will get you!! But the racism is easier to handle!!!
