I wonder how much more they would throw at you if you voted no.

When does the voting close?

I've heard from people in the know that if it doesn't pass, Mgmt isn't coming back to the table to bargain. They will put the money into signing bonuses for new FO's. This is a LETTER of Agreement. It is not a TA. This changes nothing about the contract. The amendable date doesn't change. No the pay isn't what I was hoping it would be, taken as a whole this is huge step in the right direction. I've heard a lot of "If we vote it down, mgmt has to come back to the table." They do not. If they want to put this money into a signing bonus, the Union & pilot group has NO control over it. Don't screw this up for everybody

I think you're absolutely right, but at the same time if management decides to go with some huge bonus and a training contract any remaining FOs that have even entertained the idea of leaving will do so en masse before they can get enough people in place to replace them. It'll be a Charlie Foxtrot of pretty massive proportions in my opinion.

In any event, there's still several FOs who've given notice after this LOA was announced. It may not be having quite the effect management was hoping it would have.

^^^^This. I have heard this very thing from 2 separate people who I trust and have a lot of respect for. Besides, these captains who are saying "no!" must not realize that if we don't get fo's in the door soon, planes will be parked and captains will be downgraded. How is that a good outcome?!

After watching the "Hitler finds out about CommutAir's LOA video", I am a def yes vote. Also, when you leave the crew rooms and really take a moment to think about it, its a pretty sweet deal. We all get a pay raise for absolutely nothing starting April 1st. I have mouths to feed yo.

I was a yes vote before the video, but I've got family to feed. If it was just a pay increase with no QOL improvements, I would be on the fence but taking the LOA as a whole, it's worth it. With lose nothing by voting yes, but are taking a HUGE risk by voting it down
