Anchorage to Bethel (346NM) roundtrip - $366 direct on Ravn
Anchorage to Dillingham (286NM) roundtrip - $600 AKN-DLG triangle on PenAir

"Seybert also said he welcomed any competition that wanted to enter this market." Seriously?

Ravn higher ups flew a Caravan from BET to DLG and KMO in October. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in Bristol Bay again soon.

It seems that other operators were willing to compete with PenAir if the DoT added them to EAS. Is PenAir ceasing service to St. Paul, St. George, and McGrath after November 12, 2017? Ummmm, NOPE.
Here is a link to the docket with all of the correspondence. Interesting reading.

Presque Isle and Plattsburgh are also very stable economies, so stable that their chambers of commerce see jets in their future! Maybe a good reason all that money was dumped into airport/runway/taxiway renovation during the timelapse of this last contract..
