Post Grant Aviation?

Does anyone here have any knowledge/experience with Grant Aviation out of Alaska?
Any information about starting salaries (C207, Airvan), schedule/days off and flying time per month?
Do they pay during the ground school and etc.?
Sounds like some good flying opportunities for pilots with 500TT.

Thanks

Pay info is outlined in the APC airline profile (look in the regionals section). Most pilots fly 50-80 hours in two weeks, weather dependent. Schedule is 2 weeks on/off with paid tickets to and from work. Per diem is payed during training. It’s an ok place to work and flying in the bush is a blast. Getting hired at 500hrs might be tough unless you have an internal recommendation and Alaska time. Pm me if you have more specific questions. Good luck. Ps the Airvan is badass.

Just sent in my application. 1200TT, 900+ PIC, CFI, CFII, PC12 135 experience.

My wife and I are interested in moving to ANC for a change in pace and for a new challenge. Moving from NC. Will report if I hear anything.

Default Grant Aviation?

I started at the end of June and have been pleased with my experience. I learned to fly in the southeast lower 48 so flying in Alaska has brought new challenges I would have never faced. Overall a very rewarding experience. Feel free to PM with questions!

I am sure everyone wants to know

starting pay,

schedule,

housing conditions and

how getting back and forth to the base and Anchorage works.

Maybe you should practice with an instructor. With manual flaps the Airvan is awesome in a crosswind...It takes some technique and timing but it’s fun as hell IMO.

LOL - I'll get right on that. I wouldn't go as far to say it was awesome in a crosswind, but the technique and timing does take a few landings to learn. I would guess you have much more time in the plane than I do and I don't fly it currently.
