Default Thanks for the responses

Thanks for all the info,

I really like it in Tucson. I wouldn't mind staying here and working for SkyWest. As I have said many times on this forum, my wife is not going to be happy unless we are within driving distance of Detroit. I've pretty much made her live in North Dakota for three years and now we are in Tucson which she was and is very unhappy about. Fortunately she loves me enough that she is willing to put up with my b.s.. If I can find a job that is paying more and within a reasonable distance of Detroit I will pay whatever it takes to break my lease and move to make my wife happy and allow my son to be closer to his family. Chicago, Indianapolis, Cleveland would all be fine. Ypsilanti would be the best case scenario but so far USA Jet is the only company I have found that will even match what I'm making now. If anyone else has anything I would appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks Again,

UNDGUY

Royal is a good place to work, but don't even bother sending in a Resume if you don't like to work hard. I like it, but I'm kinda a blue colar type of guy. IFL isn't a bad place either and they are hiring. BTW USA Jet is paying what 35K a year? You'll be hard pressed to find ANYONE else that will pay that much for a green horn with only 1000hrs.

Default Hey Red Guy

I have been sending my resume to Royal since I had 500 hours. I've sent Ron my resume three times and spoke to him on the phone once. The last time I talked with him he said it was the slow time and I should send it again in the spring. (I haven't sent another one since then)

I know for a fact IFL hired a guy pretty much straight from ATP. He can't have 500TT, but putting him right seat in the Falcon's. I don't think his ATP training had much to do with it, more-so that he's young, from the local area, and willing to learn.

If you want to work at Royal, I'd send another one in. We need a couple guys.
