It is south florida 135. Understaffed. Just upped the pay to slow the number of people quitting. Maintenance is bad dispatch is bad. They do not care about fixing the problems just getting the next trip done. 10+ mels at a time. The owner has been involved in many lawsuits. 4 DOs and 3 cheif pilots in 2 years. Go to Mountain or Jet Edge.

They are basically old Dumont 2.0

Business model is buy older stuff, clean it up with paint and maybe interior and fly it till parts start breaking so much they have to scrap it.

They have a ton of planes and don't have the infrastructure to maintain them all. I know a bunch of pilots there, some have left, some stay around. Pay is still low, pretty typical 135 stuff. The planes float around, MX is done wherever it can be. I think they work a 12 on 10 off schedule for most of the fleets.

I have never worked there, so I can only pass second hand info along.

Bases: True home basing, head out on a Tuesday, head home on a Tuesday. They'll tell you that days 1 and 8 are "travel only" days, but you'll quickly find yourself flying on those days.

QoL: Make sure you try to relax on your 6 days off at home because the 8 on days will be a non-stop $h!t storm. Everything is driven by the sales department with some midget Napoleon at the helm. Maintenance on puts bandaids on ever-recurring issues, nothing ever really gets fixed. If you ground the airplane for any given maintenance issue, you'll automatically become the bad guy. Your cockpit will be littered with lots of MEL stickers. Don't expect any support from the Chief or DO.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

Default PIC Global

Got offered 145k PIC. Pretty low in these times to fly for that kind of $$$. They have to offer more to start being more competitive! Retain pilots!
