Changes at Wheels Up Coming? Rumor Control
Was told this was a better forum to post this question to the posters/lurkers:
Was told today (from a non WU pilot) a letter from WU management was sent to all pilots seeking volunteers who would be interested in going to a part-time status (8/20 days) with no benefits.
Anyone wish to confirm, correct or deny the essence of this rumor? I won’t speculate on the reasons why but wondering if it is true.

That’s just a part time schedule they offer, and have to do a head count every year on who doesn’t want to be FT. The letter was likely included with the announcement of a new 6 on, 8 off, only available to people on the 8/20 already.
It’s 70% of full time salary.
Bad rumor.

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like a good deal for those who wish to reduce their exposure and no work as much. I'm sure some will take advantage of that option. Appreciate the reply greatly. Will pass along to those who gave me only part of the story. cheers
