Cell phone allowance: pic $40/month, sic $20/month, no pagers (Some of us here are too young to know how to operate a pager). Nobody commutes. We have no J/S agreements at all. The company is pretty stable. The parent company is profitable and committed to this venture. It isn't a big secret, but it isn't really advertised so I don't want to name the parent company here. However, our fleet is small and if one of the 3 airplanes (potentially 4 in the near future) gets grounded indefinitely I'm not sure what would happen to the pilots.
600tt/50me will easily get you an interview for Shorts SIC in YIP when positions become available. It is hard to post a definite SIC salary because it is a combination of Salary+Mileage bonus and Perdiem. The base salary will allow for a meager existence, but Mileage bonus and Perdiem can make life a little more bearable. I don't have the numbers right in front of me, but most FOs think they make a little bit more here than they would in their first year at most regionals.

Are you with Cherry Air? I thought I heard a while back that they gave pink slips to a bunch of guys, but I keep seeing ads for Lear 25 CA's on climbto350. What gives? I've got the type and meet all the mins except for time in type (currently 225 hours LR-JET). How many aircraft do they still have flying? What was the deal with the layoffs?
