Actually, its a class of 24 But 4 of them are "commercial first officers." Every instructor we've had says its the biggest class he or has seen.

That's a darn good point. Everyone should know as much about a job as possible BEFORE commiting to it. Its odd that you won't know what you could be getting paid. Are they hiring or will they be hiring directly into the 99's or anything twin turbine?

Ziggy,

Yeah going to BFI this coming Thursday. I've been trying to study my butt off for the flows and emergency procedures.

The VP of Flight Operations came into that class last week and changed 2 pilots hired as PA31 PHX to 99 PHX. He told them PHX was going to be an all turbine base immediatly. Lucky them.

In this last Indoc I met a Marine C-130 pilot hired to fly Metro's out of the DFW base. He said their were two retired airline captains hired to fly passenger Lear's out of New Jersey for Ameriflight. Makes sense I guess. The VP of the Flight Department is a 20 year 121 captain.

I knew the payscale when I was hired, just don't know about the new one. Nor did I know a new one was on the way.

They are hiring directly into the 99.
