Should be. As long as guys are moving on, we'll need to keep back filling.

So no more 50 hour multi requirement? Key Lime has no set multi minimum and their pilots don't crash that much.

^^^Not funny.

Well AMF isn't KeyLime. AMF likes to see at least 50 hours multi for the PA31, they have taken people with less multi time, but they were sharp pilots. I trained a few of those with less than 50 hours multi.

How does AMF determine who the "sharp" pilots worthy of being hired below the 50 are? So they must give interviews to guys with less than the 50 then see how they measure up in the sim??

Correct, if they come highly recommended from a current line captain, that usually helps, and then display in the interview that they are competent and safe; along with good checklist usage and situational awareness during the sim interview portion.

You should really think before you take a jab at a pilot group for crashing....

Default Got an interview

Just got done with a phone interview with Sherri Hudson, and got offered a face to face interview. She said I can go to any base at anytime to interview. I'm within driving distance of Cincinnati, but was wondering if it would be worth my time and money to travel else where to interview.. Are all the interviews similar? Would I have a better chance if I went to Burbank or Portland to interview? Has anyone interviewed recently at Cincinnati? Thanks for your time!
